How to Resize Images Online
This tool resizes images using your browser's Canvas API — no upload required. Choose between pixel dimensions (exact sizes) or percentage scale (e.g., 50% to halve an image). The aspect ratio lock ensures your images aren't distorted when you enter one dimension.
Fit Modes Explained
- Contain — scales the image to fit inside your specified dimensions while keeping the whole image visible. May result in a canvas that doesn't perfectly match both dimensions.
- Cover — fills your exact dimensions by scaling up and cropping the excess from the edges.
- Stretch — forces exactly your specified dimensions. May cause distortion if aspect ratio differs.
- Width/Height only — resizes only one dimension and calculates the other proportionally.
