Tips for Professional Electronic Signatures
- Use a consistent signature โ Your electronic signature should resemble your physical signature. For typed signatures, use the same name as on your ID.
- Add the date โ Always include the signing date next to your signature. Most legal documents require both.
- Initial each page โ For multi-page contracts, use the Initials field on every page to indicate you've reviewed the entire document.
- PNG transparency โ When uploading a scanned signature, use a PNG with a transparent background so it overlays the PDF cleanly without a white box.
